Dr. Nicole Bassil

Dr. Nicole Bassil is passionate about psychological assessment for diagnostic clarification purposes as well as targeted treatment recommendations. She has conducted psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational evaluations in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings and has extensive experience in differential diagnoses, diagnostic clarification, and complex comorbid diagnoses. Dr. Bassil emphasizes the importance of fostering a nonjudgmental and comfortable environment to reduce anxiety that often arises throughout assessment procedures. Additionally, she provides thorough feedback to clients and/or their family to make sense of diagnoses and discuss treatment options. Dr. Bassil further emphasizes the importance of not just assessing deficits and symptoms but also evaluating individual strengths and abilities.
