Random Acts Of Kindness

February 25, 2013

Shortly after the latest mass shooting – well, one of the latest – there was a push for doing random acts of kindness. Opening the door for someone, bringing in treats to the office , paying a stranger a compliment, or something similar isn’t enough to color the dark news in new rainbow colors. However, doing something positive can definitely improve your outlook on things. The day after this latest shooting, I went to McDonald’s on my way to work for coffee & anonymously bough coffee for the next 5 people in line that morning. Of course that tiny act of kindness isn’t going to change the world or make everyone get along. But when there’s so much negativity in the news, it’s easy to think that everyone is like that – unless you do something about it!

Have you ever done a “random act of kindness”??
