MS. ANNA KULL

Anna Kull completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and drama at Vassar College in 2005 and spent 15 years in the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Her years of experience in social justice and community relationships, along with her belief in every person’s right to be whole and heard, led her to a career in mental health. Anna is passionate about helping people move towards healing and their life goals. She is currently a clinical social work student in the prestigious clinical social work program at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Intervention Style & Therapy Experience: Anna has experience providing wellness, adjustment, and mental health services. She is committed to providing culturally relevant services for a variety of challenges and diagnosis. She has helped people navigate difficult emotions, life transitions, and hard to change behaviors such as substance use, career concerns, and identity challenges. She enjoys working with people of all ages and with all presenting problems. Anna’s style is warm and non-judgmental. She takes a strengths-based, person-centered approach helping people create positive change and meet their goals. She approaches her therapeutic work with compassion and is guided by evidence-informed practices, integrating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) into her work. Anna recognizes that seeking support takes strength and she strives to create a welcoming and safe environment. With a background in social justice advocacy, Anna is LGBTQIA+ friendly and incorporates an awareness of oppression and social justice into her work as relevant.
